As the veil thins and night grows dark,
I'll be reading Sam Hain at Southlands Art.
This month, Southlands Arts Centre is holding their month-long literary festival, LitOct. A celebration of creativity and community, they'll be hosting an array of talks and book readings from a variety of authors, as well as a number of in events for everyone to get involved in (including pumpkin carving and a haunted house experience as Halloween approaches).
On Saturday 26th October, I'll be holding a talk on all things writing and weird at Southlands. I'll be discussing my journey to becoming an author, the inspiration behind the Sam Hain stories, and reading from the first novella in the series, All Hallows' Eve, in celebration of the season of spookiness. There'll be a Q&A and book signing session afterwards.
The event begins at 6pm. Tickets are £7.50, and a free glass of wine is included with the price (spirits available through seances only).
I'm looking forward to hosting this evening of reading, sharing strange stories and arcane adventures with readers old and new alike!
